About the Intensive Prepare for the new ballet season with seven days of focused, high-quality training in one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The Budapest School-Ready Ballet Intensive is designed for dedicated ballet students who want to return to their schools stronger, more confident, and technically prepared for the year ahead. Whether your goal is to improve your classical technique, prepare for auditions or competitions, refine your artistry, or simply make meaningful progress before the academic year begins, this intensive provides the perfect environment to do so. Training is led personally by Ivan and Katya Kozlov, internationally recognized ballet educators and former principal dancers with extensive professional experience performing and teaching throughout Europe and the United States. Their students have gone on to receive scholarships, win international competitions, and gain acceptance into leading ballet schools and professional companies. Unlike large summer programs where individual attention is often limited, this intensive focuses on quality over quantity. Class sizes are intentionally kept small, allowing every dancer to receive detailed corrections, personal coaching, and guidance throughout the week. Daily Training Includes • Classical Ballet Technique • Pointe Work or Repertoire & Variations • Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) Each class is carefully structured to develop strong technical foundations while improving musicality, coordination, artistry, flexibility, balance, and confidence. Throughout the intensive, students receive practical corrections they can immediately apply to their daily training long after the program has ended. The program welcomes motivated ballet students from approximately 9 years of age through pre-professional level. Participants will be grouped according to age and technical ability whenever possible to ensure an appropriate learning environment for every dancer. Beyond the studio, Budapest provides a unique cultural setting to begin the season inspired and motivated. The combination of professional training and an unforgettable international experience creates an intensive that is both productive and enjoyable.
